“Any teams would love to have him” – Aaron Finch suggests Babar Azam to play Big Bash League if available

After losing Test series last month, Pakistan have made a strong comeback to win the 3 match One Day International (ODI) series against Australia with a win in the series decider. Meanwhile, Australia skipper Aaron Finch was full of praise for Pakistan skipper Babar Azam after the match, and said that any team in the Big Bash League would love to have his services.

Pakistan cricket team registered a 9 wicket win against Australia in the 3rd and the final match of the ODI series to win the One Day International series 2-1. First it was the bowlers and then it was a Babar Azam masterclass to hand his team the series win.

After winning the Azam opted to bowl, and bowlers live-up to his decision, taking first 5 wickets for just 67 runs. But then, Alex Carey and Cameron Green brought Australia back in track. The Aussies managed to put 210 runs on the board for the loss of 10 wicket.

Pakistan completely dominated the match, not only with the ball, but also with the bat. After Fakhar Zaman got out early on, Imam-ul-Haq and Babar Azam made sure there is no more trouble. While Imam scored 89 runs, Babar Azam scored 105 runs to take Pakistan over the line.

Australia captain Aaron Finch had nothing but praise for the Pakistan skipper in the post match press conference. During the press session, Finch mentioned that if Babar is available to play in the Big Bash League, any team would love his services, and not just Babar, but also any other Pakistani players.

“If Babar Azam is available to play Big Bash, any team would love to have him. We love having any of the Pakistani guys; they’ll always be welcomed in the Big Bash,” said Finch.

With this, the ODI series between the sides has come to end, but not the cricketing action, as both the teams will square-off again on the 5th of April in the one-off T20I.
