On Saturday, the 11th anniversary of the World Cup winning moment, former Indian head coach Ravi Shastri and World Cup winning member Harbhajan Singh recreated the iconic scenes from the 2011 finals. Both Indian legends were doing their Hindi commentary jobs during an IPL match between Gujarat Titans and Delhi Capitals. On the 11th anniversary, during an IPL pre-match show, the host asked Shastri to recreate that moment along with Harbhajan.

Notably, former Indian head coach and 1983 World Cup-winning member was also doing commentary during the finals against Sri Lanka. He was heard repeating his iconic remark, “Dhoni finishes it off in style.”

The clip has him saying that Dhoni hit a big shot and that is six. India lifts the World Cup after 28 years, and that’s a party scene everywhere. He concludes with, “The party begins in the dressing room. Mumbai is alive.”

Harbhajan also added some flavour to it in his style. He stated that Little Master Sachin Tendulkar’s dream of winning the World Cup has finally achieved. That was a big moment for India. He also added, “What a wonderful moment this is for all the players.”
