The Indian Premier League (IPL) Auction is set to take place tomorrow, 23rd December from 2:30 PM IST as the teams look to build a formidable squad for the next season. A lot of eyes will be on some key players like Ben Stokes, Sam Curran, Cameron Green among a lot.
Meanwhile, the IPL Auction has even left many Pakistani fans excited, however sad that no Pakistani players are part of the Auction as they are not allowed. Meanwhile, one Pakistani journalist claimed that had Pakistani plsyers been allowed in the competition, Pakistan all-rounder Asif Ali would have fetched 18 crore.
His statement comes after Asif show in the Big Bash League while playing for a Hobart Hurricane. Asif scored a thunderous 41 runs in 13 balls with a strike rate of 315. However, the journalist’s statement was met with negative reaction from Twitterati.
