The T20 World Cup 2022 edition has reached its final stage as the Grand Finale of the tournament will be played on the 13th of November on Sunday between England and Pakistan.
Pakistan cricket team beat the New Zealand cricket team in the semi-final with a comfortable 7 wickets win. On the other hand, England cricket team dominated Team India in the 2nd Semi-final.
The match between the teams on the 13th November will be played at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) in Melbourne from 1:30 PM Indian Standard Time (IST). However, as of writing this, the weather report for the match is not looking good.
According to the latest weather report on the 11th of November, Friday, there is 95% chances of rain on that. In that scenario, it is now a big question in almost everyone’s mind as what will happen if rain intervenes the final.
Well don’t worry, even if the match is interrupted due to rain or even washed out, there is a reserve day for the final. If the match is interrupted on Sunday, the match will be played on Monday.
However, if still rain interrupts the match on Monday, there is a condition that needs to be met to crown the champion. According to rules, atleast 10 overs per side has to be played even on the reserve day to crown a champion. Failing so would mean that both England and Pakistan will have to share the Trophy.

If a 10 over per side is not possible even on the Reserve Day (Monday) due to rain, then England and Pakistan will share the trophy.
