The IPL has grown massively over the last couple of years and players now earns in crores per season in the IPL. Seeing the success of the IPL, many countries have now started their own T20 leagues. Temba Bavuma

You won’t believe that South African cricket team’s ODI and T20I captain Temba Bavuma is not even part of his country’s own T20 league, the SA20 Legaue. It’s neither because he plays in other league. Bavuma doesn’t play in any T20 league as probably teams believe he is not fit for a T20 team.

Dean Elgar

Another South African cricket team’s captain, specifically the South African cricket team’s Test captain Dean Elgar is another player who doesn’t play in their country’s T20 league, the SA20 League. Elgar is a fantastic Test cricketer, but he has not managed to replicate the same in the T20 format of the game.

Pat Cummins

Australian cricket team’s pace bowler and captain Pat Cummins has developed to be a huge name in the world of cricket. Cummins is regarded as one of the best bowler of the current generation and his skills are a proof of that.

Cummins though, doesn’t play in Australia’s T20 league, the Big Bash League, but has been a ever present name in the Indian Premier League (IPL). He last featured for the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the IPL 2022. However, he decided to stay away from league cricket this year due to heavy workload as Australia’s captain.
