T20 World Cup

The T20 World Cup 2021 was a disaster for the Indian cricket team as they failed to make it out of the Group Stage to the knockout stages of the competition. The Men in Blue lost their opening 2 big matches against Pakistan and New Zealand very badly and win in their remaining matches was just not enough for them to qualify.

After the failure in UAE, it was very expected that a massive change will be made in squad, especially given the fact that Rahul Dravid was appointed as the new head coach of the team. And as expected, some new faces were tried out while some former faces returned to the squad.

And now, with another T20 World Cup to be played this year in Australia, Team India is looking to build a solid squad to take to Australia. And the new faces and returning players have done really well that there is now a huge competition for slot.
