Shivam Dube

The first player in the list who is already out of the running for a spot back in the Indian team is all-rounder Shivam Dube. The all-rounder made his debut back in the year 2019 with a high expectation, but he did not come close to that and was dropped from the team just after 13 T20Is and 1 ODI match.

Nitish Rana

The next name in the list is left-handed middle-order batsman Nitish Rana. The Delhi batsman has been consistently doing well in the Indian Premier League (IPL) for the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). As a result of his performance, he was called-up to the Indian team for the Sri Lanka series in 2021. He has so far played 1 ODI and 2 T20Is and has done a massive contribution so far. And with players like Shreyas Iyer, Suryakumar Yadav and Deepak Hooda fighting in the middle, Rana’s opportunities seems really impossible now.

Faiz Fazal

Another left-hand batsman Team India tried out during their transition period is Faiz Fazal. Fazal made his International debut for Team India in the year 2016 against Zimbabwe and scored a brilliant 55 runs in that match. However, till date, that has remained the only match for Faiz as he never played for the Indian team again.
