Former Indian Premier League (IPL) superstar with the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), Chris Lynn is enjoying a great outing in the ongoing T20 Blast in England.
Chris Lynn, the Australian opening batsman, who had lit up the Indian Premier League (IPL) during his stint with the Kolkata Knight Riders between 2014 till 2018, is currently in another world in terms of form, smashing boundaries here and there, smashing century, is currently the leading run scorer in the T20 Blast 2022.
Turning up for the Northamptonshire in the T20 Blast 2022 season, Lynn currently the most run scorers list with 379 runs from 7 matches at an average of 94.75. He was part of Mumbai Indians squad last time in IPL 2021, but, didn’t not play much, and was eventually not even looked after this season.
But he is making his mark felt again in the T20 Blast 2022 season and is probably setting up a future return to the world’s biggest T20 cricket league. So today, let’s have a look at the teams that can look after his services for IPL 2023.
Chennai Super Kings
The defending champions did not had a good season in the IPL 2022, finishing 2nd last in the points table. Chris Lynn could be a great addition to the team. While the team preffered Ruturaj Gaikwad and Devon Conway this season as openers, Chris Lynn could bring that fire power in the powerplay, which was a massive problem for them earlier stages of the IPL 2022.
Sunrisers Hyderabad
Sunrisers Hyderabad had a very bad start to the IPL 2022 campaign, major reason being the opening duo. While young Abhishek Sharma was struggling with his form, Kane Williamson was just not really able to give a fierce start to the Orange Army. Chris Lynn could bring that fire-power at the top for them.
Kolkata Knight Riders
The only team who had major issue with the openers in the IPL 2022 was Chris’ former team Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), trying a number of combinations, but not worked, which eventually cost them the qualification to playoffs. Chris Lynn could be a great and cheap option for them, who is already a tried and tested player in India and Eden Gardens.
