Tamil Nadu all-rounder Washington Sundar was rewarded for his outstanding performance in domestic cricket in the year 2017, when he got his chance for India in the ODI format for the first time. Sundar is considered to be the specialist bowler of T20 and he also got a chance of T20 debut in 2017 itself.

Sundar was in the T20 team in the 2021-22 Australia tour and after that he was kept there as a net bowler. Sundar would not even expected that he will get a chance to make his Test debut in this tour. Sundar got his chance to debut in the fourth Test after off-spinner Ashwin was injured during the third Test and took his first Test wicket in the form of Steve Smith. All this when he was 21-years and 102 days old.

Rishabh Pant

Delhi’s young wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant is also one of the few players who have got a chance to play for India in all three formats at an early age. Pant made his T20 debut in the year 2017 as Dhoni’s successor. After this, he got a chance to debut in ODIs against West Indies in 2018. After T20 and ODI debut, Pant got a chance to make his Test debut in England in 2018. In this way, at the age of 21 years and 10 days, Pant joined the list of youngest players to play in all three formats for India.

Delhi pacer Ishant Sharma is at the top of the list of youngest players to play all three formats for India. Ishant used to bowl at an amazing pace in the early days of his career and his stellar performances allowed him to play one format after another. Ishant made his Test debut for India, followed by ODI debut and T20I debut in 2008. In this way, Ishant became the player to play in all three formats for India at the young age of 19 years 152 days.
