The ongoing T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia is reaching its last stages but there is still a big number of on-field action. Today, in the first match, New Zealand and Ireland faced off at the Adelaide Oval.
Batting first in the match, New Zealand scored 185 runs and Ireland could only score 150 runs while chasing 186. What that does is that New Zealand have become the first team to qualify for the semi-finals of T20 World Cup 2022.
While New Zealand won the match, but it is actually Ireland’s pace bowler Josh Little who made the headlines as he took a hat-trick in the 19th over of New Zealand inning. He dismissed Kane Williamson, James Neesham and Mitchell Santner to complete the milestone.
Josh Little has been great throughout the T20 World Cup 2022 and people have praised the Irish bowler for his performance. Twitterati also suggests that a IPL bid is coming for him.
