Former Pakistan cricket team’s all-rounder and captain Shahid Afridi had an interesting answer to a fan’s question on social media asking him about what the future holds for the out of touch Virat Kohli.
The former Indian cricket team’s captain Virat Kohli is considered one of the greatest of all time. His batting master-class has led the Indian to victories so many and so many places. He run scoring spree was a nightmare for any bowlers.
He was scoring runs and centuries at a rate that many even thought that Virat Kohli is the only players in the history of the game who could go on to touch Sachin Tendulkar’s record of 100 International centuries.
However, for the last 3 years, things hasn’t been going by his side for the Indian batter. He has been terribly struggling to score runs having last scored an international century back in 2019 in the day and night Test match against Bangladesh. Let alone International cricket, Kohli has not scored a century for the last 3 years any forms or tournament of the game.
The Indian fans have very much worriful with the T20 World Cup coming later this year and next year’s 50 overs World Cup.
Meanwhile, former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi was doing a QNA session on his Twitter account and a user asked him about the future of Virat Kohli. To which, Afridi had an interesting reply. Afridi stated that Virat Kohli’s future is in his own hand.
Virat Kohli will be next seen playing for the Indian team in the upcoming Asia Cup 2022 to be played towards the end of the August. India will take on Pakistan in their opening match of the competition on the 28th of August.
