Match number 37 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 is currently going on between the hosts Rajasthan Royals and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in Rajasthan.
Both the teams are in the top 4 of the points table with the visiting team top of the points table while the hosts 3rd but has an opportunity to surpass them with a win.
Rajasthan captain Sanju Samson won the toss and opted to bat first. Yashasvi Jaiswal gave Rajasthan a brilliant start as usual. The young Indian opening batter scored 40 runs in the powerplay himself of team’s 64 total.
However, in the 4th over of the match, CSK bowler Mahesh Theekshana made him troubled with a LBW appeal. MS Dhoni behind the stumps went for the review.
Fans and everyone believed that this is out because of Dhoni’s accuracy with the DRS call and the fans also call it Dhoni Review System. However, the review showed that the ball pitched outside leg and thus Jaiswal survived.
