Fans always have huge expectation from a India vs Pakistan match, especially in a World Cup event, and today’s match certainly lived-up to the hype.
Team India had to fight till the last ball to get the win against their arch-rival. Chasing a target of 160 runs, Team India had lost 4 wickets very early on in the match.
But then, superstar batsman Virat Kohli and all-rounder Hardik Pandya stabilized the Indian inning. Kohli played a brilliant inning of unbeaten 82 runs and saw India over the line.
Meanwhile, Hardik Pandya contributed massively too. Pandya scored 40 runs in 37 balls, that certainly isn’t the way he plays. However, the importance of that inning was quite valuable.
