Indian cricket team’s middle-order batsman Cheteshwar Pujara, who is greatly known as Test player, displayed his great skills in the white ball game in the ongoing Royal London One Day Cup in England playing for the Sussex team.
Cheteshwar Pujara was termed Test player early on his career due to his failure to perform the same way as like he does in the Test format. He just played 5 ODI matches in his career and scored only 51 runs.
But, he proved everyone wrong in the ongoing Royal London One Day Cup tournament in England. It was like a different Cheteshwar Pujara playing in the match against Warwickshire.
Pujara played an wonderful inning of 107 runs from 79 balls with a strike rate of 135.44. However, it was a certain 45th over of Sussex inning when Pujara really took it to Warwickshire bowlers, scoring 22 runs in that over.
He scored 12 runs in the first four balls which included 2 fours and doubles, then ended in the over with a Six and a Four to complete 22 runs of that over. However, he was dismissed towards the end of the match and unfortunately for Sussex, they lost the match by 4 runs.
But Twitterati were awestruck after seeing Pujara’s new avatar in the match.
Sussex need 70 runs from 6 overs then Pujara smashed 4,2,4,2,6,4 in the 45th over. pic.twitter.com/aLnf37gNg2

Sometimes I just don’t get Pujara. Plays blockathon to save matches. Playing here to finish it off. 107 off 79. Unbelievable. #Sussex #CheteshwarPujara pic.twitter.com/TG6nc5aLga
