“His strike rate is not good enough,” you certainly have heard this about the young Indian batsman Shubman Gill. Well guess what, he has shut all those mouth today with a emphatic double hundred vs New Zealand in the 1st ODI being played in Hyderabad.

Opening the inning with the Indian captain Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill has certainly made up for all the expectations from his fans.

While the other batters couldn’t convert their good start to a good inning, Shubman Gill has shown unreal consistency. While wickets kept on falling on one end, Gill remained there on the crease.

He went to score a magnificent double hundred against the mighty Kiwis. He scored 209 runs from 149 balls.

With his performance, Twitterati couldn’t stop praising the Indian youngster for his performance, who now finds himself among the best of the best like Rohit Sharma, Sachin Tendulkar.
