After a very minimal contribution in the 1st T20I vs Sri Lanka in Mumbai, Sanju Samson is now officially out for the 2nd T20I to be played in Pune. Reports suggest that Samson has stayed back in Mumbai and has not travelled with the squad to Pune.
Sanju could only contribute with 5 runs from 6 balls while coming in at number 4. Fans have been left frustrated with the news. Many even feel that Sanju Samson’s career trajectory is like of Dinesh Karthik, who had lot of talent but couldn’t fully realise it.
Sanju Samson is doubtful for the 2nd T20, he has stayed back in Mumbai for scans on his knee. (Source – Cricbuzz)— Johns. (@CricCrazyJohns) January 4, 2023Advertisement
the hero who finally got selected – he’s injured after just one match! Good going team India— Vishrut Krishna (@vishrut_krishna) January 4, 2023
There you go.. There were Sanju and Rishabh fans’ war on Twitter, and as destiny has it’s say always, both of them are injured. This is so unfortunate 😞 https://t.co/eBQ2rT9PRM— Vidya S (@vidyasharada) January 4, 2023
The guy’s trajectory and potential is like Dinesh Karthik. Almost good but never good enough. Bad form, injuries, long rope to other performing players. Atleast DK had Dhoni to blame.— MoCr Boli (@BoliMocr) January 4, 2023Advertisement
Means Rahul Tripathi is going to make his debut on his home ground 👀— Rodony 𓃬 (@Rodony_) January 4, 2023
That knee possibly got stuck while fielding in the game yesterday..could be the reason behind the trouble.— movieman (@movieman777) January 4, 2023
