Having already lost the first 2 matches of the ODI series against Bangladesh and 3rd match to be played today, the Indian team now shifts focus to the Test series starting from the 14th of December.
Meanwhile, before the red-ball action begins between the two teams, the BCCI has made an interesting change as Saurashtra captain Jaydev Unadkat has been called-up for the Test series.
Jaydev has consistently been doing really well for Saurashtra, leading them to the Ranji Trophy few years back and they most recently won the Vijay Hazare Trophy as well.
Unadkat’s performance has also been great of late. However, the left-arm pacer has only played once for the Indian team and it was not a great outing as well. However, since then he has improved himself.
Meanwhile, reacting to the news, Twitterati couldn’t believe that finally BCCI is selecting player who has done well in the domestic cricket rather than IPL.
