The India Maharajas registered their first win in the ongoing Legends League Cricket (LLC) and showcased their dominance against Shahid Afridi’s Asia Lions.
So far, the India Maharajas had remained without a win in the Legends League Cricket 2023, but their wait ended in quite a convincing fashion as they won their 3rd match of the competition against Asia Lions.
Batting first, Asia Lions scored 157 runs. Upul Tharanga was the leading run scorer for them. Meanwhile, their regular captain Shahid Afridi was missing for this match. Chasing the target, both Gautam Gambhir and Robin Uthappa, two former KKR teammates and openers, took the India Maharajas from the start to finish line.
