The 2nd day’s play of the 2nd Test match is currently going on in Wellington where the hosts New Zealand cricket team is taking on the Sri Lankan cricket team in the final match of the 2 match Test series.
New Zealand is already leading the series after having won the 1st match in a dramatic fashion on the last ball of the Test match.
In the 2nd match, Sri Lanka won the toss and opted to bowl first. However, the New Zealand batters were in top class form where the opening duo added 87 runs. Then thereafter, former captain Kane Williamson went on to score a brilliant Double Hundred who was later joined in the company by Henry Nicholls.
New Zealand declared their 1st inning for 580 runs for the loss of 4 wickets only. Following that, people are calling the pitch in Wellington even more degrading than Pakistan’s Rawalpindi’s pitch.
New Zealand have adopted bazball too. Two double centuries in 123 overs. Asian teams when ? #NZvSL

Will be good for boosting their batters average & increase batsmanship quality
If Guys like Nicholls, Williamson are making Tons of runs by this,
SA batters easily can#NZvSL https://t.co/oKlYp9b676
Poor captaincy by @IamDimuth ๐Green top pitch is deceptive. Any good captain knows that Wellington is a batting paradise. Should've battered first. He's lost many matches due to his defensive captaincy. You gotta risk losing to win more matches. Play fearless like @ECB_cricket
