The year 2023 is set to be a fantastic year for any cricket fans, not just because that we have some great series lined-up or some exciting red ball and white ball matches coming up, but also because it is the ICC Cricket World Cup year.
The ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 edition will be played later this year and will be hosted by the 2011 and 1983 World Champions India.
There is already much craze about this World Cup as India would look to end their World Cup drought that has been going on from more than a decade.
While India is already counted as one of the favorites, India’s neighbour country Pakistan is also looking to win their 2nd World Cup, that too in India.
Pakistan captain Babar Azam recently made a statement about being excited to play in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023. He said that it is one of his goal in 2023 to win the World Cup in India.
Following this statement from the Pakistan captain, the Indian Twitter is saying that what happened to PCB’s statement that they won’t play the Cricket World Cup 2023 if India doesn’t visit Pakistan to play the Asia Cup 2023.
