After being asked to bat first, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) started off brilliantly and was once likely to go past 220, however, Rajasthan bowlers produced a brilliant comeback and stopped them for just 189 runs.
Rajasthan Royals got off to a bad start as they lost the wicket of Jos Buttler early on in the inning. Yashasvi Jaiswal and Devdutt Padikkal played well, but since their wicket fell, Rajasthan lost its footing in the match.
However, thanks some small inning but impactful innings, Rajasthan were still in the match to win it until the last over.
Rajasthan needed 20 runs in last over and Ravichandran Ashwin gave them a huge hope until he was dismissed in the 4th ball of the match.
