After a Test series sadness for the Indian cricket team, the Men in Blue are back in action tonight as they take on the new captain Jos Buttler led England in the 1st of the 3 match T20I series.
While leading the Test series 2-1 going into the fifth match, India suffered a lost in the match that they were enroute to winning it on their performance after the 1st inning of both the team, however, it was the England team who at the end won the match and levelled the series.
With Test cricket now aside for the moment, Team India are back in action, this time in the shortest format of the game.
And with a several of its top players currently in Birmingham, recovering from the Test match, India is fielding a quite a lot altered team, that sees a young left-arm pacer Arshdeep Singh making his debut.
Arshdeep, the Punjab cricket team’s left-arm pacer has impressed with his impressive performance in the domestic stages, especially the IPL. He has been consistent with his performance and as a result, has finally got the opportunity to make his debut tonight.
Twiterrati also made some noise for the young pacer who would like to impress everyone with his showing tonight, and who knows, may even eye a spot in the T20 World Cup, maybe a little late for that.
