The 21st match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2023 was played on the 5th of March in Rawalpindi’s Pindi Club Ground between the bottom placed Quetta Gladiators and the Islamabad United.

Quetta were put to bat first after losing the toss and they managed to score 179 runs for the loss of 6 wickets. Mohammad Nawaz and Najibullah were the star with the bat for Quetta who scored 52 and 59 runs respectively. Then Pakistan’s wicketkeeper batsman Umran Akmal displayed his carnage as he scored 43 runs in 14 balls.

Chasing the target, Islamabad United lost the wicket of Rahmanullah Gurbaz quickly. But then Colin Munro led the charge for his side as he scored 63 runs in 23 balls and was well supported by Azam Khan, who also scored 35 runs in 25 balls and Faheem Ashraf came in clutch with his 39 runs in 31 balls as Islamabad United won the match by 2 wickets.
