Team India have taken the field in its first official match of the T20 World Cup 2022 against arch-rival Pakistan in Melbourne’s Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG).
India captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and opted to bowl first. This is the first that that Rohit Sharma is leading the team in a world cup, and Rohit got emotional during the Indian National anthem.
