“We’ll have to see one more inning” – Sanjay Manjrekar not happy with “Back in Form” statement for Virat Kohli

Royal Challenger Bangalore (RCB)’s aggressive batsman Virat Kohli played an innings of 73 runs from 54 balls against Gujarat Titans (GT) in the league phase to help his team win the crucial match. However, despite this performance, former India cricketer Sanjay Manjrekar believes that Virat Kohli is not back in form yet.

“Virat Kohli has got that one inning but I don’t believe a player is back in form after just one inning. We’ll have to see one more inning in a pressure game then we’ll know whether or not Kohli is back in form,” said Manjrekar.

He added that Virat Kohli will have to play another great innings in the pressure match that is the Eliminator against the Lucknow Super Giants. He added that the world has seen Virat lead his team to victory number of times with his performance. He also added that Virat is purely back in form and do well for Team India in the upcoming T20 World Cup 2022.

He further said that fans also understand cricket very well and it’s not that he wasn’t scoring runs earlier. He said that Kohli was consistently scoring 30-40 runs but everyone expects from a batter of the quality of his.
