While chasing that in their first inning, Glamorgan declared for a huge score of 795 runs with 3 centurion. Of the 3, middle-order batsman Sam Northeast took everyone by surprise and broke all the records as he scored 410 runs and remained unbeaten. Other than him, Colin Ingram and Chris Cooke are the other 2 centurion.

However, this match will be long remembered for what just Sam Northeast did. Also, in the process, he also became the only batsman after the great and legendary Brian Lara to score 400 individual runs in a single inning of a first-class match.

The County Championship Division 2 match between the two teams is still on and Glamorgan now have a lead of 181 runs.
