Just before the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 edition could begin on the 31st of March with a match between the defending champions Gujarat Titans and the 4 times champion Chennai Super Kings, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) is set to hold a special event called ‘RCB Unbox’ on the 26th of March.
Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) is one of the founding members of the Indian Premier League (IPL) and it is taking part in the competition since the very first season back in the year 2008.
Despite that, the team has failed to win the Trophy even once. They have a huge fan following, and they are loyal too. Despite not winning the title once, the fans just keep on increasing in numbers every season and the roar gets stronger and stronger.
Bangalore have had number of great starts of the game play for them in the competition. And on the 26th of March, they are set to hold a special event called ‘RCB Unbox’ alongwith the presence of the current and the former players.
The event will be graced by the likes of former star players Chris Gayle and fan favourite AB de Villiers, while also their former captain Virat Kohli will be present during the event.
RCB’s home ground, the M Chinnaswamy Stadium has gone through renovation work including upgrades to seating capacity, lighting and acoustic feeling. More so, the event will be graced by singer and pop star Jason Derulo, Sonu Nigam, Tulsi Kumar and Aditi Singh Sharma will make this a experience that no RCB fan will forget.
Also must note that the event will also the start of the team’s practice session as well as induction of both Chris Gayle and AB de Villiers into the RCB Hall of Fame. The franchise has also decided to retire both the players’ respective jersey number that use to wear during their playing days. Other than all that, the franchise will also unveil its jersey for the IPL 2023 season.

The the ‘RCB Unbox’ event will start at 4 PM Indian Standard Time (IST) and will continue till 10 PM in the night. The event won’t be broadcasted live on any T.V channel while the passes for the event has already been sold out. However, those who still don’t have a pass, can watch the event through the comfort of their home through their mobile as the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) will broadcast the event live on their YouTube channel here.
