Everyone is eagerly waiting for the match between India and Pakistan in the Asia Cup. Meanwhile, there has been news of a ruckus in the Pakistan team. The players of Pakistan’s team have lodged a protest with the PCB regarding their central contract. Although the players have agreed at the moment, but after the Asia Cup, there will be a meeting between the PCB and the players.

Expressing displeasure over the central contract, Babar Azam, Shaheen Afridi and Mohammad Rizwan have demanded a change from the board. There are some things the board has put in the contract that the players are not happy with.

The PCB has assured him that talks will be held with the player after the Asia Cup 2022. Players have registered their protest at their own level. It remains to be seen what happens in the case after the Asia Cup.

Not every player plays in all formats and the contract is also on that basis. Even so, but many things were included in the contract including not participating in foreign T20 leagues, photo rights to ICC events and advertisements.

In such a situation, the Pakistani players thought it better to raise their voice on this concern. According to reports, Pakistani players get 8 lakh rupees for playing Test matches. Whereas 5 lakh for ODIs and quarter to four lakh rupees for T20Is (note that the amount is in Pakistan Rupees).

The match between India and Pakistan in the Asia Cup 2022 is to be played on August 28th in Dubai. Everyone is very excited about the match. The last time that these two teams played against each other in the T20 World Cup 2021, Pakistan asserted their dominance and won the match by 10 wickets.
