New Zealand to tour Pakistan twice after T20 World Cup 2022; Here’s the full schedule for the tour

A good news has arrived for Pakistan and it’s fans as they are trying their best to return international cricket to the country. According to latest update, New Zealand team will tour Pakistan twice in the coming months. During this, Test, ODI and T20 series will be played between the two teams.

The New Zealand team will first visit Pakistan in December. During this, two Tests and three ODI matches will be played between the two teams. The first match of the Test series will be played in Karachi from December 27. At the same time, the second Test match will be held in Multan from January 4.

Both these Test mayches will be played under the ICC World Test Championship. New Zealand will play a Test match in Pakistan for the first time since May 2002.

After the Test series, the ODI series will be played between the Kiwis and the Pakistan team. All three ODIs will be played in Karachi. The first match will be played on 11 January, second on 13th and third ODI will be on 15 January.

The Pakistan Super League is to be organized from February 9 to March 19 and for this reason the New Zealand team will return home after the ODI series. After this, the Kiwi team will tour Pakistan again in April.

During this, five T20I and five ODI matches will be played between the two teams. The first T20I match will be played on April 13, the second on April 15, the third on April 16, the fourth match on April 19 and the fifth match on 23 April in Lahore. The first four matches of the T20I series will be played in Karachi.

After that, two ODIs will be played in Lahore on 26 and 28 April. At the same time, the remaining three ODIs will be played in Rawalpindi on May 1st, 4th and 7th.

In fact, in September 2021 also, the New Zealand team visited Pakistan, but then the team returned without playing a single match. To compensate for the same matches, the Kiwi team will tour Pakistan again in April-May.
