“He’s a beautiful batter” – Marnus Labuschagne names the Pakistani batter he is most fond of

Australia’s historic tour of Pakistan ended with Australia tasting success in the longest and the shortest format of the game. And Australian batsman Marnus Labuschagne has named the Pakistani batsman he is most fond of.

Australian mens cricket team’s visit to Pakistan was a historic one as they visited the country after a massive gap of 24 years, since last being in 1998.

The Pat Cummins led Test squad first tasted success in the longest format of the game, winning the last match of the 5 match series to win the Test series 1-0, whereas Aaron Finch led them to glory in the shortest format, winning the only T20I. Pakistan made a great comeback after the losing the first ODI to win the remaining 2 ODIs to win the ODI series 2-1.

Meanwhile, Australia cricketer Marnus Labuschagne has named the Pakistani player he is most fond of. In an exclusive interview with Cricbuzz, Labuschagne said that Mohammad Yousuf is his one of favourite batsman and termed him as beautiful batsman.

He stated to Cricbuzz that before coming to Pakistan, he hadn’t watched him much, but when the tour to Pakistan was confirmed, he has watched a lot of his batting. He said, “He’s a beautiful batter. Jeez I hadn’t watched him for a while. I had watched him but not heaps. He’s one guy that I’ve seen a lot of now.”

Mohammad Yousuf is a legendary Pakistan batsman who has played 90 Test matches and has scored 7530 runs, which includes 24 centuries and 33 fifties and an average of 52.29. He has also played more than 250 ODIs, a total 288 ODIs, and has 9720 runs to his name. He didn’t had a long T20 career as he only played 3 matches and scored 50 runs.
