Better than Mohammed Siraj? Former Indian cricketer rates this talented young pacer to be a lethal wicket-taker for India; and it’s not Umran Malik

Team India has got tremendous fast bowlers in the last few years, who have also proved themselves when given the opportunity. There has also been a player among these young fast bowlers, whom the fans have missed for the last few months, here we are talking about India’s young fast bowler, Prasidh Krishna, who has not been seen in action for a long time.

The pacer Prasidh Krishna, hailing from Karnataka has been battling injuries for the last few months, keeping him away from the cricket field. Irfan Pathan, the former veteran fast bowler of the Indian cricket team, has made a big statement about Prasidh Krishna, in which he believed that if Krishna becomes fully fit, he will prove to be a very important bowler for Team India.

The 26-year-old fast bowler has been battling a back problem, due to which he has been away from the cricket field since September last year. He played his last match for India in August 2022 and then due to injury, he did not get a chance.

Irfan Pathan has heaped praise on Krishna and said that if he plays regularly after getting fit, he will prove to be very important for India in limited overs.

Talking to Star Sports, Irfan said,
“Prasidh Krishna has tremendous ability, he has pace, we have seen in ODI cricket, how much bounce he gets from the pitch. He bowls near the stumps and swings the ball. We have seen this quality of his. Last year in the IPL, he bowled at a speed of 148 kmph. If he stays fit consistently and bowls for you in white-ball cricket, you are going to get a solid wicket-taker.”

Let us tell you that Prasidh Krishna made his debut for India in 2021 and has so far taken 25 wickets in 14 ODIs at an average of 23.92.
