Indian cricketers have taken to the social media to post their emotional messages for the Indian cricket fans after the Indian cricket team couldn’t reach the Semi-Finals of the T20 World Cup 2021.
The Indian cricket team, who were the favourites to win the T20 World Cup 2021, took an early exit out of the T20 World Cup 2021 after the team’s poor start in the tournament, losing their opening 2 matches against Pakistan and New Zealand.
Indian players, after returning home today, took to the social media to post messages for the Indian fans. Virat Kohli, who played his last match as India’s T20 captain, posted on his social media that the team failed to perform to its fullest on the big stage. He continued that the team is really disappointed, and praised the fans for their continuous support and promised to bounce back strong.

KL Rahul, who was India’s highest run scorer in the T20 World Cup 2021, first expressed his gratitude towards the fans. Then thanked the coaching team and congratulated Virat Kohli for his successful stint as India’s T20 skipper.

India’s star all-rounder Hardik Pandya also thanked the fans for standing beside the team and promised that the Indian team will work hard and will repay the faith that the fans have shown on the team. Flamboyant wicketkeeper batsman Rishabh Pant also thanked the fans and asserted that India will bounce back strong.

India vs New Zealand T20 Series
India will next take on New Zealand in a home series later this month. The series will mark the start of a new chapter as Rahul Dravid will takeover duties as India’s Head Coach, while Rohit Sharma has been named the Indian team’s captain for the T20 team. The series will consists of 3 T20I’s on the 17th November, 19th November and on the 21st November. That will be followed by the 2 Test matches starting from 25 November.
