In its very first season, the new and extraordinary format of the game, founded by the founders of the game, The Hundred made quite the headlines in its inaugural season itself and is set for another season of the tournament.
The Hundred, is a format that completely changes the complexity of the game, bringing in a new set of rules that you don’t see in an ordinary cricket match.
And just before the 2022 season of the competition, the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) held the official draft where some big names have been picked for the competition, while some big names have not been picked in the draft.
Among some of the big names who have not been picked any of the franchise for The Hundred 2022 season are some worldwide renowned names. Australian batsman David Warner and Pakistan cricket team’s skipper Babar Azam are two of the big names to have not been picked in the draft.
David Warner is considered one of top player in the shortest format of the game, whereas Babar Azam has proven himself in all the format of the game. The two being not picked is kind of a shocking news for number of people.
Other than the duo, West Indies’ hard-hitting batsman Chris Gayle, South Africa’s Tabraiz Shamsi, Pakistan’s Mohammad Amir and Australia limited overs captain Aaron Finch are the other players who have not been picked in the draft.
