AB de Villiers or MS Dhoni? Virat Kohli names the fastest runner between the wicket; names fan favourite Indian batsman as worst runner

The friendship of AB de Villiers and Virat Kohli, one former and one current Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) player, is very much known to everyone. They were called the Jai and Viru of the RCB team, both the players have been fan favourite.

Despite being one of the 8 of the founding members of the Indian Premier League (IPL) back in the year 2008, the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) have failed to win a single IPL Trophy in its history of existence.

But, the franchise have been lucky enough to have the services of some of the best players in the world, two of mention are former captain Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers. The duo is quite famous for their friendship.

While Virat Kohli still continues to play for the Bangalore based team, AB de Villiers has announced his retirement and will not play in the IPL 2023. Meanwhile before that, the duo sat for a candid chat where they talked about various things.

During their conversation, the duo also picked the fastest runner between the wickets during their chat. As per the rules, Virat Kohli was not allowed to name AB de Villiers and neither the vice-versa. In such a case, Virat Kohli picked his former Indian national team captain MS Dhoni whereas AB de Villiers picked his countrymen Faf du Plessis.

“Ofcourse, its not even a question, I have been asked this question before, AB De Villiers has by far been the fastest I have run with between wickets, the only other guy I had so much coordination and understanding with was MS Dhoni,” said the former India captain.

They also picked who they think is the worst runner between the wicket. Virat Kohli picked one of his teammate and Test specialist batsman Cheteshwar Pujara as the worst batsman in terms of running between the wickets.
