The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 has taken an exciting turn as the things are getting heated up. The match number 38 of the IPL 2023 is being played between the Punjab Kings and the Lucknow Super Giants.
Batting first after being asked to bat first by Punjab captain Shikhar Dhawan, Lucknow lost the wicket of KL Rahul early on in the match as he scored 12 runs in 9 balls.
But other than him, every other batter contributed significantly as Kyle Mayers played an explosive 54 runs inning. Then Ayush Badoni joined in and scored 43 runs.
Mitchell Marsh also flexed his muscle as he scored 73 runs and Nicholas Pooran also smashed 45 runs and helped Lucknow Super Giants post the highest score of the IPL 2023 on the board as they scored 257 runs in their 20 overs. See how Twitterati reacted.
#LucknowSuperGiants played on its potential today.. The good thing is that #KLRahul got out early. #gautamgambhir 's team should play with this type of aggression.#PBKSvLSG #LSGvsPBKS #IPL2O23

LSG would've broken RCB's record tonight if KL Rahul hadn't played four dots in the first over.
