The match number 26 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 has gone in favour of the visiting team as the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) managed to beat home team Rajasthan Royals.
This is a very important win for the Lucknow side as it means that they are back in the hunt for a top of the table race against the same opposition.
Batting first, on a slow pitch that was difficult for the batters to navigate, Lucknow scored 154 runs in their 20 overs.
However, despite a great start by both Yashasvi Jaiswal and Jos Buttler, adding 87 runs opening partnership, Rajasthan kept on losing wickets and the pressure eventually got the better of them as Lucknow won by 10 runs.
The match went out of Rajasthan’s hand right when captain Sanju Samson was run out through a fault of his own. After that, Rajasthan couldn’t get back on feet and eventually lost the match. See how Twitterati reacted.
