Batting first, Punjab Kings scored 153 runs in their 20 overs. Gujarat Titans took the game deep and were all given a major shell shock in the last over.
However, just like the past, Rahul Tewatia came in clutch in the very last over of the match. Requiring 7 of last 6 balls, Sam Curran managed to get the wicket of the danger man Shubman Gill.
The Gujarat batters found it difficult to score big shots against Sam until Rahul Tewatia smashed a boundary against his likely favourite team to score runs and become a hero.
