The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 Auction is currently ongoing in Kochi and some huge money has been poured for the players.
Among some of the big buys in this IPL Auction, the biggest one of them is England’s all-rounder Sam Curran heading to Punjab Kings for a whopping 18.50 crore, the record highest buy.
There were a number of teams who went after him, however, Punjab Kings remained always in for it till the end to make it a homecoming for him as Sam started his IPL career for them.
Back to where it all started! Looking forward to it 🦁 https://t.co/1lpsK8fX4V

So far players who were an expensive buy never performed well in that season https://t.co/6JbVKU7R6M
