Former England cricket captain Joe Root has expressed his desire to take part in the IPL 2023 to be played from Match next year and thus he is set to add his name to the IPL 2023 Player Auction pot.
Meanwhile, many fans think that Root’s strike rate in T20 cricket is a big concern and thus won’t fetch a huge amount in the auction, or may even go unsold.
However, the right-hand batsman has come out to state that he has no salary expectations to take part in the IPL as he just wants to gain experience by playing in the competition.
