The day 2 of the 5th Test match between Indian cricket team and the England cricket team has come to an end and it is the Indian team who is in cruise control of the match, having already dismissed 5 England players. However, it was Mohammed Siraj who made the headline with a inch perfect ball to dismiss in-form Joe Root.
Indian team resumed it’s batting from their overnight score of 338 runs. Ravindra Jadeja completed his century, while it was Jasprit Bumrah who was buzzing with his tremendous performance with the bat, especially the over when he scored 35 runs from an over of Stuart Broad.
Indian team were at the end dismissed for a total of 416 runs with centuries from Rishabh Pant and Ravindra Jadeja.
England’s inning was several of times halted because of rain delay. However, the Indian team bowlers ensured that England can’t do what they did against New Zealand.
