The Maharaja Trophy KSCA T20 League, shortly the Karnataka T20 League, is currently ongoing with some top teams and players from Karnataka participating in it. The tournament is being played between 6 teams.
While players from all around Karnataka is playing in the league with the hope to make it, there is already some big Karnataka boys playing in the league. There are even some India international and IPL stars playing in the league.

Manish Pandey
Manish Pandey is among the most recognisable names for the Indian fans who is playing in the league. Pandey is a India international middle-order batsman. While he is not a regular India international now, he is still playing in the IPL. While he grew his stature mainly with the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), he was initially a part of the Mumbai Indians squad in IPL 2008. He is playing for the Gulbarga Mystics in the Karnataka T20 League.
Jagadeesha Suchith
Slow left-arm orthodox bowler Jagadeesha Suchith is another of those former Mumbai Indians player who is currently playing in the Karnataka T20 League. Suchith was a part of the Mumbai Indians team in 2015 and 2016 season. He couldn’t establish himself there and neither in any other teams. He is playing for the Bengaluru Blasters in the Karnataka T20 League.
Krishnappa Gowtham
Krishnappa Gowtham is a very popular name among the Indian cricket fraternity. Gowtham has also played for the Indian team after his tremendous showings in the IPL 2021. He was a member of the Indian team that toured Sri Lanka last year and played 1 ODI match for India. He is currently a member of the Lucknow Super Giants in the IPL and played for the Mumbai Indians in 2017 and is currently playing for the Shivamogga Strikers in Karnataka T20 League.
Shreyas Gopal
Karnataka’s leg-spin bowler Shreyas Gopal was touted of big things in future, but the player couldn’t maintain his consistency. He has now become a fringe player for any IPL team is currently a member of the Sunrisers Hyderabad team. He is playing for the Mysore Warriors in the Karnataka T20 League. Gopal started off his initial IPL career with the Mumbai Indians team in 2014 and remained with them till 2017.
Abhimanyu Mithun
While he maybe an unknown name to a lot of new generation, but Abhimanyu Mithun is a very well known name to a lot. The medium pace bowler has played for Team India in Test and ODI format of the game, however, his career wasn’t successful. He was picked in the IPL 2015 Auction by the Mumbai Indians team, but was released just after a season. He is now the captain of the Hubli Tigers in the Karnataka T20 League.
