The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the Indian team for the T20 World Cup to be played from October on 12th September this month. Sanju Samson

Sanju Samson, who captained the Rajasthan Royals in the IPL 2022, has performed brilliantly in T20I matches played this year, yet he was not included in India’s squad for the T20 World Cup. Before the 15th season of IPL, Rajasthan had retained the right-handed wicketkeeper batsman for 14 crores.

Avesh Khan

Young right-arm pacer Avesh Khan played two matches in the recent Asia Cup, along with playing several bilateral T20I series this year. But Avesh missed out on a place in the Indian team for the T20 World Cup. In IPL 2022, Avesh got a contract of 10 crores from the Lucknow Super Giants.

Prasidh Krishna

In the 15th season of the IPL, fast bowler Prasidh Krishna was included in their squad by Rajasthan Royals after spending a hefty amount of 10 crores. Krishna has been playing ODI cricket regularly for India for some time now but the team management hasn’t given him a single opportunity in the T20I format yet.

Ishan Kishan

Ishan Kishan was the most expensive selling player in this year’s mega auction. Kishan was bought by the Mumbai Indians for 15 crores and 25 lakhs. However, the left-hander could not impress the selectors with his performance. Kishan was part of the Indian squad in last year’s T20 World Cup but this year he did not get a chance.
