Their batch of the 2022 season was full of some talented names, but the season didn’t go well for them. They will be hoping for a strong comeback next year, and for that, they need their players to stay competitive, and what better than playing in different leagues. Most recently, the Lanka Premier League draft took place and as minimum as 3 Mumbai Indians players are part of the league. Let’s have a look at them.

Fabian Allen

Fabian Allen is the first name in the list who is a Mumbai Indians player from IPL 2022 and will turn up for the Kandy Falcons. Fabian, the West Indies wrist-spinner, may not be a long term option at Mumbai Indians, but the franchise would like the player to perform in the Lanka Premier League (LPL) 2022 season and show the Mumbai team management that he deserves a slot into the team.

Tristan Stubbs

South African young wicketkeeper batsman Tristan Stubbs got a surprise entry into the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 for Mumbai Indians, who brought him in as a replacement for injured Tymal Mills. Stubbs played 2 matches and got only to face 4 balls in the competition, from which he scored 2 runs. But at just 21 years of age, Mumbai Indians would hope the youngster get good playing time in Sri Lanka while playing for the defending champions Jaffna Kings.

Dewald Brevis

Dewald Brevis will accompany fellow Mumbai Indians teammate Fabian Allen as he will turn up for the Kandy Falcons in the Lanka Premier League (LPL) 2022. Dewald Brevis was a hugely bright spot in what was a very bad season for the Mumbai side. Making his debut at the age of just 19-years-old, he became an instant hit for the Mumbai side. Brevis rose to limelight during the recent U19 World Cup, scoring 506 runs from 6 matches and also his batting resembles quite a lot to his idol AB de Villiers, which is why he is nicknamed ‘Baby AB’.
