Former Indian cricket team captain MS Dhoni is one of the greatest captain ever to play for the Indian cricket team. Dhoni was not good with his bat and behind stumps, his leadership skills got the best out of the players.

Dhoni will ever be considered one of the greatest ever to play for India. The legendary skipper won everything there is to win. His is the only Indian captain to all 3 of the ICC Trophies there was to win during his time, the 2007 T20 World Cup, 2011 Cricket World Cup and 2013 Champions Trophy.

Pragyan Ojha

The veteran left-arm orthodox Pragyan Ojha was a great player for the Indian team. He was an important member of the Indian Test team more than any other format. He made his ODI debut in the year 2008 in the Asia Cup held that year under MS Dhoni’s captaincy, however, after playing just 18 ODI matches, Ojha announced his retirement in 2018.

Subramaniam Badrinath

Subramaniam Badrinath, the former Tamil Nadu skipper made his ODI debut in the year 2008 in a match against Sri Lanka. Badrinath made his ODI debut under MS Dhoni’s captaincy and was also his teammate in CSK. But, his career was not fruitful and played only 7 times in ODIs for India before retiring in 2018.

Manpreet Gony

Former Indian pacer Manpreet Gony also made his debut in the 2008 Asia Cup like Pragyan Ojha under MS Dhoni’s captaincy. However, the Asia Cup 2008 proved to be the only tournament that Gony played for India. He featured in 2 matches for India and took 2 wickets. However, that was not enought to prolong his national team career and retired in 2019.
