Yuvraj Singh, a retired former Indian cricketer, recently shared a message on social media addressing the heated argument between Virat Kohli, the star batter of Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), and Gautam Gambhir, the mentor of Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) during an IPL 2023 match.
The altercation between the two former World Cup winners occurred after RCB’s victory over LSG in match No.42 at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium.
The dispute ensued when Kohli and LSG pacer Naveen Ul Haq exchanged words during the match, and it escalated when they confronted each other during the handshake. The altercation was eventually resolved with the intervention of team players and officials.
Following the heated argument between Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir during an IPL 2023 match, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) imposed a 100% match fee fine on both Kohli and Gambhir.
In addition, Naveen Ul Haq, the LSG pacer who also participated in the altercation, was fined 50% of his match fee.
In response to the incident, Yuvraj Singh, a former teammate of Kohli and Gambhir in the Indian cricket team, took notice of the argument and shared his thoughts on the matter. He used a cheeky message to express his opinion on their dispute.
