Here’s why Suryakumar Yadav is missing from Mumbai Indians’ Playing XI against KKR

Mumbai Indians’ season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 has already been a bad one so far, and to further add to misery in that, their most in-form batsman Suryakumar Yadav has now been ruled out of the IPL 2022 remainder.

Match number 56 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 is being played tonight at the DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai, between the home team Mumbai Indians and the Kolkata Knight Riders.

It is the home team Mumbai’s captain Rohit Sharma who won the toss and opted to field first. However, during the toss, he also informed that their most reliable batsman this season, Suryakumar Yadav will be missing, not only the match, but the rest of the season due to injury.

About 30 minutes prior to the match, reports came in that Suryakumar Yadav has suffered a left forearm muscle injury and has been ruled out for the remainder of the IPL 2022.

While Mumbai Indians continued to had a disastrous season, it was Suryakumar Yadav who carried the team around in every match.

Suryakumar has scored 303 runs from the 8 matches that he has featured in with an average of 43.29.
