England’s star cricketer Liam Livingstone has gained quite the name over this year, first in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) and then the Indian Premier League (IPL) and now he is continuing his exploits in the ongoing The Hundred as well.
Liam Livingstone has gained the name of a great finisher of the game over the couple of months. His quick-fire hitting has gained him a great reputation of a big hitter of the ball.
He displayed his abilities in the recently concluded The Hundred match against Trent Rockets when he scored 51 runs of 32 balls to take his team to victory. However, what was more interesting about that was how he finished the match.
On the 86th ball of the inning, Livingstone struck a great one handed Six to hand his team the victory and also completed his fifty as well.
Talking about the match, batting first, Trent Rockets scored just 145 runs in their 100 balls. Daniel Sams was the highest scorer for them, scoring 55 runs of 25 balls while Benny Howell took 3 wickets.
Chasing a target of 146 runs, first Birmingham Phoenix skipper Moeen Ali scored a fifty and then Liam Livingstone then took the team over the line to win the match.
