The 12th match of Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2023 was played between Peshawar Zalmi and Islamabad United on the 23rd February. Islamabad United won the match by six wickets. Captain Babar Azam from Peshawar Zalmi scored 75 runs in 58 balls with the help of seven fours and a six but he failed to win the match for his team.
However, in the press conference after the match, a Pakistani journalist asked Babar Azam such a question, which was answered brilliantly by Babar Azam that everyone was left stunned after hearing Azam’s reply.
Let us tell you that the Pakistani captain is counted among the best batsmen in the world. Many people are crazy about his shots. Not only this, due to these shots, he is also compared to Virat Kohli.
Indian batsman Virat Kohli himself has praised Babar Azam many times. There are also many records that the Pakistani captain has achieved to his name in his career.
Pakistani journalist asked Babar Azam a question about Karachi Kings after a match on 23rd February. Babar, who is playing for Peshawar Zalmi now, is former used to play for Karachi Kings. Pakistani journalist asked the question as to why Karachi Kings are not doing well in this season in the PSL?
Answering this question, the Peshawar Zalmi captain said, “I am their coach a bit? Why are you asking me about them? Let’s talk about today’s match.” Azam made this statement after the defeat against Islamabad United.

Babar’s statement was similar to what Rohit Sharma had said in India vs Pakistan 2019 World Cup when a Pakistani journalist asked him the question, “Pakistan’s economic condition is not going well at this time, what would you suggest to the Pakistani batsmen to come out of this crisis?” To this Rohit had replied “If I become the coach of Pakistan, I will definitely tell you, what can I say now,” as everyone laughed in the background.
