According to Riaz, “I give this statement so that Ramiz Raja could know how bad I felt when he did not pick up my call,” during a conversation on former cricketer Salman Butt’s YouTube channel.

“Ramiz Raja, after being removed from the post of PCB chairman, said that being a former cricketer, he should not have been treated like this. That is why I gave those statements. I called him four times and messaged him two or three times. He didn’t pick up my phone even once or reply to my messages. I just wanted to make him realize that the way he is feeling bad today, I too felt very bad at that time. At least he could have answered,” he further added.
