Virat Kohli’s sister posted heart-touching message after his last game as RCB captain

Virat Kohli’s sister Bhawna Kohli posted a heart-touching note on her official Instagram handle soon after the Royal Challengers Bangalore lost to the Kolkata Knight Riders in Eliminator match of the 2021 edition of the Indian Premier League. Many fans would know that the 2021 edition of the Indian Premier League was the last one of Virat as the skipper of the Royal Challengers Bangalore team.

All fans of the Royal Challengers Bangalore team were hopeful that the 2021 edition of the Indian Premier League would culminate with Virat Kohli lifting the trophy for the first time in his IPL career. However, the same did not happen. RCB started their season with four consecutive wins, but they lost their momentum in the middle and failed to finish in the Top 2 of the points table.

The Royal Challengers Bangalore team faced the Kolkata Knight Riders team in the Eliminator match of the 2021 edition of the Indian Premier League. The RCB batters failed to get going in the main match as they managed only 138 runs in the first innings. Virat Kohli won the toss and elected to bat first at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium. However, there was no standout performance from the batters.

Virat Kohli will not lead the Royal Challengers Bangalore again, and reacting to the same, his sister Bhawna Kohli wrote on Instagram:

“You gave your best as a captain. You have always held your shoulders high no matter how the tough the situation was. You are and will always be a remarkable captain, a name synonym with RCB captaincy. Forever worthy of respect adulation. Proud of you brother.”
